Previously on GZSZ…We all OD-ed yet again from the cuteness explosion that is Anni and Jasmin, as they fought against homophobic Schmerp Scherf. Mesut had a kebab and defended the girls from some workers and later made some sausages.

Ep 5546

We open on another beautiful morning in Berlin. Upbeat music is playing, cars are driving around, people are exercising, police are on their way…wait what? Police are coming?

We hear the protest in full swing and everyone is chanting “Our hood stays colourful”. Anni and Jasmin are still the cutest protesters that ever were. The workers are standing around looking confused. Anni tells Jasmin that they’re gonna have a hard time getting through them and promptly runs over to one and stuffs a leaflet in his shirt. Just then the police start arriving. Ohhh snap, shit be gettin’ real now. Anni asks Jasmin if she’s scared and tells her she doesn’t have to be there, that she can go home if she wants. Jasmin puts on a brave face and asks Anni if she looks scared? LOL You do looked a teeny tiny bit scared there Jasmin.

As the police approach them, Anni tells everyone to go sit by the door and link arms. She runs off and leaves Jasmin standing there like a little puppy. Jasmin stands there for a second, unsure and then turns and bolts over to Anni, dropping her sign. She reminded me of when I was little, and we’d play hide and seek, and the person would start counting and you still had no idea where to hide. Eventually the time ran out and you just had to run and hide in the most ridiculously obvious spot. Ahhhh…anyways…how friggin cute is she??

As the police approach them sitting on the ground, they all BOOO at them. The police tell them that if they don’t let the workers through, they will have to forceably remove them. Anni tells them that they are against homophobic short-sightedness and they won’t be driven away! They continue yelling “SCHERF GO HOME!!” and the police move in to remove them. At this point, Jasmin looks so friggin adorable, all freaked out. She is clinging to Anni for dear life there.

Anni notices a guy taking pictures and asks him if he’s getting all this?. The police come to grab Anni next and she tells Jasmin to make herself heavier than she is, which confuses Jasmin. As the police grab Anni, she tells Jasmin its showtime and to watch how she does it. She also tells Jasmin that it’s all OK, but at this point I don’t think Jasmin is listening any more. She’re more concerned with the fact that the two policemen are now ripping Anni out of her arms. Anni starts screaming NO! NO! NO! YOU’RE HURTING ME! I’M FIGHTING FOR MY RIGHTS! This is definitely NOT one of Anni’s first protests. Jasmin’s face here is sooooo cute! She cannot take another second of any one trying to hurt Anni. She leaps up and jumps on top of one of the officers, screaming “Let her go” over and over, while her legs flail around.

Pitbull Jasmin at her best there. Anni’s face here is so priceless. She is in pure shock here. She cannot believe what she is seeing. Her mouth is wide open and she has forgotten all about the policeman currently still holding her.

At this point Jasmin loses her grip on the policeman and as he spins her around, she flies off him…and smacks directly into Anni’s head. It’s definitely one of the best head butts I’ve ever seen in a soap, that’s for sure.

Awww poor Anni and Jasmin! I’ll come take care of you both. Alas, they don’t need my help and next we cut over to them recovering in the hospital hallway, both holding ice packs to their heads. Anni asks Jasmin to show her her eye and Jasmin wants to see Anni’s. They both have quite the shiner there and they both giggle and also grimace in pain.

Dr Phillip comes over and asks them what they were doing. Jasmin tells him protesting. Anni is all super proud and is like “You should have seen her!. She attacked the policeman…and knocked me out in the process! She’s totally hardcore!”. God I love Anni. She can be so funny sometimes…OK MOST of the times. Jasmin is not impressed and kicks Anni saying “If you think I’ll save you one more time…”

Anni hopes next time Jasmin saves her, it won’t hurt as bad. Ohhh awesome come back there Anni. Dr Phillip asks them if they are dizzy or nauseous. At first they say no, but then Anni says maybe a little. Dr Phillip brings them pills to take, one for pain and one for swelling and tells them not to brawl any more. Anni asks if they should go home. Jasmin cutely puts her arm around Anni and tells her that she thought the policeman was actually hurting her and that she was afraid for her. AWWWWWWW!!!

In the cutest voice ever, Anni tells Jasmin that she had told her it was all an act. Jasmin tells her she doesn’t want anyone to ever hurt her because she LOVES HER!

SUPER EPIC CUTENESS OVERLOAD WARNING! Anni smiles sweetly at Jasmin, strokes her face and shakes her head at Jasmin. Kind of like she’s asking herself why Jasmin loves her. Because you’re a beautiful person Anni. That’s why.

After they sweetly smile at each other for a moment, Jasmin then tells Anni that she thinks she’s really earned those 3 words by now. The way they look at each other here melts my entire computer and I have to run out and buy a whole new one. Thank God for credit cards!

Anni pauses for a second and looks at Jasmin. Jasmin waits with anticipation. And Anni slowly says “Let’s…Go…Baby”. As soon as the word “Let’s” leaves Anni’s mouth though, you can see Jasmin’s face drop.

I know you’re all yelling at Anni at this point. But I think the timing would have been all wrong here. I know Jasmin wants to hear Anni say ILY SO BADLY, but I think the more pressure you put on Anni to do something, the more likely it will be that she will do the opposite. That’s just who she is. We all KNOW that Anni loves Jasmin. Jasmin knows it too. It’s all right there in the way that she looks at Jasmin. I get the feeling that Anni has not really told many people ILY in her life, so that’s just going to make it that much harder for her to say. Give her time people!

Anni trips over and Jasmin calls her a dope. She is looking more annoyed now than ever before. I think Anni’s avoidance is finally getting to Jasmin.

Cut to the cafe, where they are both hiding their awesome black eyes. Jasmin is eating the foam off her coffee, the same cute way that I do.

Anni asks Jasmin if she wants to rent a movie tonight and Jasmin just shrugs. This is what the dog house feels like Anni. Anni asks Jasmin if she’s mad at her. Jasmin then proceeds to do the CUTEST FRIGGIN pouty face ever. I just want to run over to her and hug her. Super adorable.

     

I personally, would have loved to have seen this play out for a bit longer here. But before we can see what would happen next, Nele flies through the door and announces that Scherf has surrendered and that they won! YAAAAAY! But come on, could you not have waited another 5mins Nele? I really wanted to see how Anni would react to Jasmin being all mad at her. Oh well, guess we’ll never know…bring on the celebrations!!

Nele remarks on their black eyes, and Anni tells her that Jasmin packs quite the punch. Shhh Anni, you were just getting back into the good books, don’t stuff this up. She quickly puts her arm around Jasmin and tells Nele that no one should EVER mess with her baby doll. Ohhh nice save there Anni.

Cut to the apartment where everyone is coming home. Nele opens the door and says “Party!! Pop open the champagne!”. God I love Nele! I want her as my room mate. Anyone got her number?

Jasmin says she feels a little bit sorry for Katrin because Scherf was her only client. Anni tells Jasmin to invite her over as she still needs to pass the mother in law check. Heehee, Anni called Katrin her mother in law!!!! Jasmin tells her she thinks she’s already passed that test.

Our monitors all blow up again from all the cuteness & chemistry. Anni then tells Mesut that Scherf’s store is now going to be a gay club and he looks freaked out HAHA! Of course, she’s only messing with him but how friggin AMAZING would it be if they added a new gay club location to the set? Anni could work the sound and Jasmin could like be a sexy manager? Are you listening GZSZ writers?

Nele fills everyone’s glasses with champagne and asks Anni if she wants any. Sensible Anni tells them it’s bad to mix alcohol and medication. Right on Anni, I would be the same. Jasmin calls her a girl and tells her a little champagne is not going to kill anyone. As Jasmin and everyone toasts with champagne, Anni toasts with her glass of water.

What happens next is another BURST of cuteness explosion. Anni says CHEERS with her water across the room from Jasmin and makes a cute face at her. Jasmin motions to her neck and mouths to Anni that its’s SOOOO DELICIOUS. Anni makes another cute face back and Jasmin sends her a sexy half kiss. OMG. It’s almost too much to bear! Hey! I said ALMOST.

Cut to a bit later, Anya, Nele and Mesut are all getting ready to go out. Meanwhile, Jasmin has passed out on Anni’s lap on the couch and Anni is gently stroking her hair. OMG! I don’t know how much more of this amazing cuteness I can take…oh who am I kidding…give me more! Give me more!

The thing that I love more than anything in this scene is that everyone else around Anni and Jasmin are busy getting ready, while Anni is totally zoned out and focused ONLY on Jasmin. She lovingly strokes her hair and smiles down at her like they are the only 2 people left in the world. And I LOVE THAT!

They ask Anni what’s happened to Jasmin and she shows them the empty champagne bottle. Anni tells them she is going to stay home and look after Miss Just-one-glass-of-champagne. The others leave and we are finally alone with Anni and Jasmin.

Now I have to say, this next little bit took me quite by surprise and I’m sure its a pure coincidence…but just let me believe this was a sign for me from the show. Jasmin starts to drunkenly mumble “But you said we’d go to Australia! Australia!”. Ummmm Australia??!!!…was this a secret message to ME??!!! Yes I think so…shhh just let me believe it. And YES they should BOTH come to Australia. I have a spare room, just sayin’.

Anni’s face cracks me up here. She is equally amused and in love with Jasmin here. She looks down at her sweet face and takes a deep breathe. ANNNNNDDD….she says….

That’s right! She finally said it! I LOVE YOU! We knew you had it in you Anni!!! Yes I know Jasmin is passed out and doesn’t actually hear her. But Anni still said it OUT LOUD! That’s a MASSIVE step for her. So I’m totally proud of her in this moment. It’s now just a matter of time before she can tell Jasmin directly. After she says it, she then gently kisses her forehead, leaving us all AWWWW-ING across the world.

We knew you loved Jasmin, Anni! We knew it! This is the reason we have all stuck by this storyline for the past year. The chemistry between these two is undeniable and we have enjoyed every moment so far. We hope for many, many more like this.
