Ep 5714
We open at the apartment with Elena yelling into the bathroom at Nele asking her if she wants something to eat. Hilariously, Anni comes running out of her room like “Did you call me?” HAHA! Elena tells her she was yelling at Nele and Anni turns around to go back to her room but Elena stops her. She tells her that people who want to go out drinking should always eat something first. AWWW Elena has turned into the “Mom” of the house.
Anni thinks that it’s a good idea because Nele is probably going to want to party REALLY hard and tells Elena that she’ll be right back and runs back to her room. Just then who should come walking back through the door?! JASMIN!!!!!!
We missed you Jasmin! Thank God you’re back! NEVER leave us again!!!!!!!!!
Elena runs over and hugs Jasmin, telling her that Nele will be so excited she made it back in time. Jasmin tells her that she brought them all their outfits to wear and grabs her Mary Poppins bag. Elena asks her how Hamburg was and if she has a lot of contacts now and knows all the trends. Jasmin laughs and says “Pretty much, yes”. Jasmin hands over a hot pink tshirt to Elena that says “Tussi to Marry. Kissing for Money”. Elena asks if maybe Mesut and Tayfun would also wear these shirts and Jasmin agrees that they would definitely look really nice on them. Just then Anni comes bounding out of her room and stops dead in her tracks when she sees Jasmin.
They greet one another and there’s an awkward pause for a second as they look at each other. I think at this point they are both unsure as to how they should proceed.
Jasmin does a good job here deflecting the situation by telling Anni that she made her a tshirt too and turns back to grab it from her giant Mary Poppins bag. Anni’s shirt is actually the reverse colours of the other girls shirts and I have to say it looks pretty cool. Her’s says “Ich kenn die Tussis nicht”, which translates to “I don’t know these Tussi’s” BWAHAHA! Perfect for Anni. Anni takes the shirt, laughing and tells her that it’s cool. They then share another moment.
Feel that. It’s that TEAM RUHSE chemistry back in action baby!
Jasmin ends up breaking Anni’s gaze and I’m just sitting at home yelling at my TV for them to just KISS already!!! Anni steps forward and says “Hey” and hugs her. It’s like she’s saying, here’s my proper hello. Naaaaw…we’ve missed this.
Even Elena in the background is a sailor on this ship. After the hug, Jasmin is smiling but you can still see sadness behind it.
Cut to the cafe later and the party has already started. We jump straight into a mini photo shoot montage with Elena, Nele and Jasmin all posing and Anni taking pictures of them. Nele asks Anni if she’s gonna join in or what, and Anni tells her that she’s in, but she doesn’t want to be in any pictures nor does she want them to breathe a word of this to anyone #classicAnni Jasmin then grabs a tiara and puts it on Nele’s head, telling her it’s so the men know who to kiss. I love the face Anni pulls when she does this.
Nele knows Anni too well because she immediately looks at her and says “One more stupid comment and you have to wear the crown” BWAHAHAHA! Anni tells Nele to enjoy tonight because from tomorrow her name will be Yildiz. Nele tells them all that they still have to call her Miss Lehmann tonight though. Elena hands Nele a glass of champagne and tells her that she’s a really hot bride. Nele then makes a toast and I love how because champagne is not really Anni’s thing, she immediately puts the glass down right after and tells them she’s gonna put some music on. The song that comes on is a song called “Techno Fan” by “The Wombats” and immediately Jasmin jumps up and yells out that she LOVES this song!!
At this point Anni looks solemnly at Jasmin and I’m not entirely sure if it’s just because she misses Jasmin OR because a song by “The Wombats” just so happened to be playing last year (March 26) when Jasmin rejected Anni after having just kissed her and she remembers this. Either way, Anni looks at Jasmin sadly and Jasmin’s smile turns into…I’m actually not quite sure whether it’s sadness or flirting.
Ayla then arrives and they run over, greeting her with hugs and her Tussi tshirt. She does not look happy Jan, not at all. And while everyone else dances away, she heads over to Anni. Anni toasts to Ayla; “To the most embarrassing evening ever!”. Ayla wishes she could drink too (remember she got knocked up from her cousin Tayfun and now she can’t drink). Anni asks if it’s about Tayfun and she nods.
Cut to a bit later on and Ayla has hidden herself away in Nele’s salon. Anni brings her some “kids champagne” and tells her about all the crazy things the girls want to do, including Jasmin wanting to pole dance with Nele on the subway. Umm YES PLEASE!!! But Anni disagrees with me and tells Ayla that if Jasmin attempts that then she’ll either shoot herself or Jasmin. Anni then asks how Ayla is doing and she launches into the Tayfun blues. He apparently has a gambling problem that she tried to help him with, but he threw her out of his house instead #ungratefulmuch. Anni employs some tough love and tells Ayla to forget about him. Cut to the subway and Anni is still sitting with Ayla while the other girls are on the other side of the carriage. It’s obvious that Ayla has been blah blah blahing about Tayfun to Anni but it seems like Anni isn’t really listening and only has eyes for Jasmin. Jasmin is busy telling some random guy that that he can get a kiss from Nele for 5 Euro. Meanwhile, Anni stares dreamily at Jasmin and sighs. And it’s a super beautiful moment.
And while the random dude kisses Nele, Jasmin and Ayla cheer her on and Anni makes a disgusted face. The guy tells Nele to give him a call if it doesn’t work out with her man and they all geer at him. And in amongst all the cheering Jasmin looks over at Anni and the world stands still.
Anni looks down at first but only lasts a second before she looks up at her again. God I’ve missed these longing looks!!!
Elena then ruins the moment and announces to the whole train that it’s their last chance to kiss the bride to be. Jasmin adds to that, that it’s 5 Euros to kiss Nele on the mouth and if they pay a little more, they might get a little more #cheekyJasmin. Nele asks that somebody stop Jasmin BWAHAH!They all take a seat a couple of rows down from where Anni and Ayla are sitting. They are obviously way drunk by now and Nele is going on about how Mesut is the best kisser ever. Elena then proposes a toast to Mesut, the super kisser and Jasmin almost throws up in her mouth.
Just then Nele gets a text from Mesut that he’s sitting at home all by himself. Cut across to Mesut real quick and theres a knock on the door. It’s a firefighter stripper. RUH ROOOH!Nele then tells the girls that she has to go home to be with her future husband and the girls all grab at her and make her sit down again. Jasmin and Elena explain away as to why she shouldn’t leave and then end with a drunken toast. God, drunk Jasmin is hilarious! Now here, for like a second, Jasmin turns around and looks at Anni smiling and Anni shyly smiles back. It’s super cute and totally makes me realise just how much I’ve missed these looks! Meanwhile the subway pulls up at a station and Nele quickly tells the girls that she’s super sorry but that she HAS to go. And before they can grab her again, she runs off waving goodbye to them all. Jasmin and Elena try to run after her but Anni just casually waves her goodbye CIAO!! #classicAnni
